Eternus is part of the Fujitsu Storage series, a software-defined storage solution using Eternus Data Services Platform, data management software based on x86 servers. The use of x86 servers in hardware provides a storage environment that incorporates the latest technologies, including increased capacity of media players and processing performance.
The solution allows flexible and rapid storage expansion, reducing management burden and costs throughout the system life cycle. “Eternus DSP offers holistic agility from deployment to the use of different types of media,” says Fujitsu, “to leverage existing infrastructure to operate across generations of technological innovations and support a wide range of capacities ”.
